PALM SPRINGS WEEKEND It had been a long, tough month at work; but the deal was finally closed and the contract signed. I needed some R&R, so to celebrate my success; I'd gotten away on an early Friday flight for a long weekend in Palm Springs. It was in the low 90's when I arrived. Just what I needed. I picked up the Lincoln I'd reserved and drove to the Motel. I registered and dumped my bags in the suite I'd booked and then headed for Indian Wells.
