I’m often asked if my stories are true, and I have to giggle to myself because they’re just products of my active imagination. It would be fun, but I’ve never come close to what happens in my stories. It’s just fantasy. Having said that, the following is 100% real and how it happens for me fairly regularly. Enjoy. Prologue: These stories are difficult to write for many reasons. It’s hard to find the time. It’s not easy to find the privacy to sit down and write them when you’re married and don’t want your significant other knowing what you’re up to. My husband, Craig, bought me the outfit after I lost a bet on a football game. I should have known better than to put money on my Cowboys. It was late on a Saturday night after taking in some dinner and wine at a local jazz bar. We had quite a fun evening and managed to polish off two bottles of expensive Malbecs. We love road trips. This time we were headed to the coast for a beach trip. I really wanted to stop someplace and grab some snacks, but my husband kept passing places looking for a good spot with all kinds of this and that.
