I have confidence and support of my dear friends from networking event. Starting from here I'm gonna work even harder to change my life and to create several sources of passive income so I wouldn't be dependant on sexwork.
Does it mean I'll never escort and never do sexwork again? Probably not. If the client is nice it's just too fun to say no to. :) But there's many problems and dangers with sexwork and those problems need to be addressed. The stupid laws that put the girls in danger, the attitude from society and etc.
It's very easy to complain but I've decided I'm not gonna take the easy way. I will do whatever it takes to put my escorting as a proffession and main income behind me. I want it to be in the past and I want to have enough income from other sources that I could quit escorting and just do it sometimes when I feel like it's fun for me not just a "job".
That's why I'm currently working on several projects. I don't mind it because in the end of the day I know who I am, PERIOD.
If you want something to get done then instead of complaining, help out and do it yourself.
I want estonian laws around sex work to change cause right now those laws are not serving anybody, Not the sex workers (safety issue is huge, health insurance, retirement plan), not the gowerment, not the Estonian country or other people.
Sex workers are treated as if they weren't human, they don't have anything. No chance to pay taxes, no chance to have a manager and someone to look after their safety. No "workplace" to go to and people around her to make sure she's safe. It's every wolf for themselves. Alone out there, just hoping, crossing fingers that next customer will be nice and polite, constant stress and fair of scary people and psyhho guys. Those girls deserve better, they deserve support and help and education and safety and health insurance and respect just as any other woman. How likely is some sex worker to turn their life around is we as society just push them out like that and don't care? It's not very likely that they get out of this dead circle on their own. We gotta change things.
Statistics say that sex workers, independant escorts, prostitutes are the part of society that are most likely to be murdered, d**gged, beaten up, ****d etc.
WE HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE AND LOOK AFTER THEIR SAFETY.
