Free hallucinogens

My doctor prescribes me magic mushrooms (psilocybin) to take daily. Well, she prescribes me Parkinson's Disease d**gs (L\l-dopa) check it out you brayniacs at https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/neuroscience/ergolines ! It means I cruise through the day high as a kite, my senses sharpened to a razor's edge, intense orgasms whenever I want - what a life! I'd highly recommend you try it but, then again, I wouldn't wish Parkinson's Disease on anyone. See you in the lab with those panties round your ankles. Byeee, Jayne

to -Snap-Crotch-Beaver- : Nature boy, eh! We went to the Hunter Valley during spring. Saw a huge flock of birds flying in a great "V" across the sky then flutter apart like a deck of cards. That night, in bed and feeling groovy, my mother walked in on us (no, we weren't having sex, we were young and innocent and just talking nonsense). I thought she was giving us the old evil eye but it was pure paranoia (natch!) And there was a kangaroo in there somewhere!

to JayneBrayne : OOhhh the 'flashbacks' = the only drug that lets you think you have totally sobered up hours later! Too funny, but sure glad your mate ended up in the right safe place, home. Most of our adventures were more the 8-12 hour range, and alcohol and the snow we played in had no affect on us - once, out camping, the phosphorus road flare we tossed in the fire was so intense, we had to turn our backs to it and look at the glow on the pine trees overhead - very trippy time winter camping, but safe from harm. Then a summer canoe trip, about a half dozen of us did some mushrooms. The sunset glow of gold on the surrounding mountains made it look like a women lying on her side [naked of course]. I brought and air mattress to sleep on, but it never got filled with air, and I just laid it on the riverbank [all limp] and ended up just sleeping on top of it. Pine Creek, Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania - awesome two day float!

to -Snap-Crotch-Beaver- : Good adventure - it's fun watching someone else on acid being weird. Funny story: me and my two mates took some heavy acid one night and did all the usual crazy things (including drinking a bottle of vodka - didn't seem to have much effect, tho). Anyway, after about 24 hours of hallucinations, my friend said he had come down, would brook no argument and was driving home. Despite all our protests, off he went (I'm not quite sure how he managed that!) Anyway, next day I rang him to see how he was, did he get home all right etc etc. "I was fine," he said. "Until I was under the (Sydney Harbour) Bridge - there was a commotion in the back seat and, when I turned around, there was a group of goblins sitting there making faces at me!" I had to laugh! Upshot was we never touched LSD again. Thus endeth the lesson!

to JayneBrayne : The one and only time my wife took aced, my guy pals and I played sober sitter for her - kind of fun watching a perfectly sane person turn into a bumbling fool in front of the unaware. She ended up buying an external frame backpack [kind of old fashion, even back in the late 1970s] at an outdoor shop arguing with the salesperson over the qualities of external frame packs versus internal frame ones having never backpacked a day in her life.  That is the part she and us DO remember, being as it was hilarious to watch.   As so had so intense, but brief out-of-body experiences on whippets or nitrous oxide cartridges, nowadays I do most of that at the dentist on N ₂O and Xanax.

to -Snap-Crotch-Beaver- : Wow, you're a knowledgeable tripper, no doubt about it.

to JayneBrayne : Why let age be a factor? One of the better things you and a friend can do is to allow one to be the "sober sitter" or spirit guide for the other person - it takes most of the responsibility off of the indulger and good feed back when you come back down. I don't remember and lucid dreams of fancy with tripping - just the intensity of the feeling of "I can do anything" at the time.

to -Snap-Crotch-Beaver- : My point exactly! I took psilocybin (and smoked some very, very strong pot) at Lake Toba in Sumatra back in the early '80s. It was beautiful - sensational hallucinations: I dreamt I was in a giant gothic cathedral dressed as a woman (a bit like opium - I smoked that shortly after in Thailand. The shroom comedown was like Tinkerbell flitting down like a fluttering feather and I didn't have any after-effects. I'd definitely do it again if I wasn't so old and had PD! Thanks for your erudite reply. Jayne

I've got Parkinson's  and wouldn't wish it on anyone, the medication is strong enough without taking more on top!

I am a chemist, by training and education - micro-dosing is the newest thing with hallucinogens - I have tried the shooms, and find them delightful
