Of all the shitty changes xH has made over the last year or so, this one ranks pretty low (relatively speaking) on the shitometer. But then again, maybe I don't understand, because I fail to see the point in collecting a bunch of random people I don't know on a friends list.

Why does anyone program any sort of arbitrary limits into their social media platforms when the whole purpose of the platform is to draw in numbers of sheeple to make money off one way or another? Stupidity, crappy database administration or simply platform limitations? One does wonder, but I suspect it’s a combination of some of all of them.
