I feel I must make my case

I posted something regarding something about people who want to be my friend but have "no gays" on their profile.

Due to only having 60 characters makes it difficult to make a point. The point I was trying to make, is that I get requests from men who have "no gays" in their profile, but then request friendship from me.

Sorry, gay is gay, whether men or women or whatever. it is something I hate. I am gay, I make it clear and plain. If you don't want gay people to become your friend, then why ask me? Is it because they fantasise the idea of 2 women but not 2 men? do they think that the woman isn't really gay and can be "turned" by a picture of a flaccid or erect penis?

My friendship is based on the personality of the person, not on their sex or their sexual preference. I am open to what people do with their lives, I would not want anyone to dictate how I should live my life.

If you have "no gays" on your profile, then I would prefer if you just by-passed my profile and not request friendship from me. I will not put up with any form of discrimination

I am not dismissing your life choices or sexual preferences, but, I am a lesbian and I am completely not interested in any penis what so ever. Forgive me if I am wrong, but I would say that if you are interested in men as well as women, then most people would "catagorise" you as bisexual. Now it is not for me to put labels on people, I am just voicing definitions. As I say, it is not for me to judge or say what is right or wrong, each person is individual and each preference is their own, but the dictionary definition of a lesbian is a homosexual woman. If a man said he enjoyed both sexes, then he would be bisexual. But then again, would he be classed as gay too? Interesting question I have raised for myself lol

as you don't say you're a lesbian ... i'm not sure what you're disagreeing with ... i know a lot of lesbians in real life who would disagree with you and get very offended if you spent even one second saying you are a lesbian who likes bbc

I think you needed to direct this at the person you were conversing with, as I was about to reply, thinking you had responded to my original post!

to anisha71 : It matters not to me whether people who follow me or chat to me are men, female, gay, straight, bisexual, poly sexual, sexless, tall, short, as long as they are polite and respectful. They simply cannot put "no gays" on a profile and then ask me to accept their request for friends. Most of the time, the galleries and movies are not of them (just like mine) so what does it matter if a gay man or woman likes their galleries? How does it affect them?? It is not as if most of these people converse with their followers to such a degree that it matters. Just one of life's many puzzles

i despair at the so-called lesbian women on this site ... the ones who say they like women, and bbc ... if you're a woman and you like any kind of penis, you are Bi, not Lesbian !

to spunkingbaz : A lot of languages change, it is how words develop and evolve. There are a lot of words that are no longer used, some are a great loss to the English vocabulary. Some words change meaning, others are used incorrectly, some used as a disparaging remark. This is why words are fascinating

Of course, why would anyone want to take time out to read a profile? All anyone is after is a swift action on their private parts and then exit the website!
