To Xhamster Friends
When I first joined Xhamster I accepted all friend requests which was a big mistake. I had well over 1500 friends at one point, but about half of them were scammers or solicitations of one sort or another. It wasn't enjoyable to log on and find my feed filled with ads and spam. I realize there is an unfollow feature, but I thought it better to start over.
It took a long time. I would look at about 50 profiles a day. If they hadn't logged in for 30 days or more, they were dropped but I did not block them if they wanted to send a friend request and come back. If the profile had virtually nothing on it, goodbye. If the profile was soliciting money it was also dropped. I cleared the "retired" people from my list as well.
I culled my friends list to under 200 people who appeared legitimate to me and I've been picky about the people who I have added since then. I can't tell you how big of a difference it's made in the enjoyment of this site for me. The messages and comments I receive now are no longer about money or "tributes". Mostly they are from kinksters like myself who want to interact. What a concept, eh?
I'm also not hesitant anymore to block people who are excessively rude or creepy. There is definitely a contingent of people who are just downright assholes who gain a Trump-like pleasure through personal insults. They have no place in my friends list either.
I have a lot of dominant females on my friends list, but really I have male and female friends who have varied interests. The common denominator is that my friends list is genuine. I enjoy reading the comments, stories, and blogs, as well as perusing the images that are posted. It's makes coming here a more real experience.
So really this post is saying "thank you" to my friends that survived the cut. I truly appreciate you all.
