Uploaded Content vs Favorites

There seems to be a huge deal made out from folks not having uploaded content. Personally, I don't see the big deal when the majority of the content posted here are reposts that already exist somewhere on xhamster.

I come here to stream... not download and repost. Favoriting links my profile to the items I share with the public... same thing to me. Take it as you may, but if you do care, go through favorites. I know I go through other peoples favorites JUST AS MUCH as I go through their uploaded content. It tells you what they like and watch.

I see your point and it's valid, but here's my take: I try to upload content that number 1 gets me off, number 2 is new and fresh as in not seen on this site before, and number 3 can perhaps stimulate others to upload and share their own content. I know that you more than likely have seen or possess videos that you could potentially share through uploading. I encourage you to give it a try. I think you will see that yes it does require a lot of patience and sometimes work through editing but all in all building your own library can be rewarding. While having an extensive list of favs is good you aren't actually helping the site grow with new material but rather promoting a never ending cycle of previously viewed stuff. Anyhow if the notion ever strikes you to upload exciting new content give it a shot, until then I hope you understand I will politely decline.
