The new xham contest rules (1st august 2013)

Now the contest is NOT based of the total viewers.

Every 3 hours the Top 5 performers with the highest earnings of tokens will get:

1st=20$ ; 2nd=10$ ; 3rd=5$ ; 4th=5$ ; 5th=5$

Top 20 performers of the month (rating is based on amount of total earned prizes) will also get:c

1st=2000$ ; 2nd=1000$ ; 3rd=500$ ; 4th=250$ ; 5th=250$ ; 6-10=100$ ; 11-20=50$

I believe the original problem started when the user SweetAndrea was having over 200k views (in 3 hours periods) while others models would be capped between 10000-15000, clearly someone was using a script to rapidly join her room to boost her viewers.. xHamster, to lazy to dig down to the cause of the issue (Who is this person? How does he do it? What can we do to prevent this in the future?)

They simply changed the rules and throw it on tokens (Now if they cheat, at least they earn on it ,.. right?)
WRONG

xHamster is now experiancing a new type of "cheater" which is a person continuesly making accounts under false creditcards,.. The tokens get refunded, the account gets disabled.. all fine right? NO because those tokens STILL count for the contest.. I wonder what their new change will be? Only VIP member tokens will count for contest? only verified users? or only users with a confirmed creditcard??

Or will xHamster finally step up and fix the issues the site is having all over? like the gigantic server issues causing models not even being able to do their camshow properly?

Just outing my opinion

to jadorememasturber : i agree, we should see the tokens they earned, and if some models would say "its my privacy", so i would tell them that they can see the goldmembers's "goldpoints"... so the privacy should be for both or for nobody

i will continu broadcasting even with new rules because i like this site, not too big, and easy to have good friends but, i don't apreciate that we can not see how many token the models earned to win prize ! it's like a strange mistery !!! i think it should be written ! before the viewers was written !

to self-control : That's right I know many models who isn't "pro" for example missapathetic always fun to chat with her. I think she should get some recognize too if she is willing to spend time with us here.

to self-control : Good idea. We have already stopped doing cam shows or uploading any more videos until they *pay us what they already owe us*. With the changes in the rules, I doubt we will be back. Now the only cam models who make ANY money on Xhamster are only the top ones. Does Xhamster not wonder about the incredible amount of model turnover they have? We have won many awards here but these changes are so discouraging we no longer broadcast any of our fun.

Bullshit policy. we put on a GREAT show for Xhamster, often 10,000 viewers or more, and we DID NOT BEG FOR TIPS. If we can't get a measly $20 from Xhamster for entertaining that many of their viewers then screw them. I wonder if we upset their income stream by not demanding tips? Tips on Xhamster are stupid - the whole damned site is full of "FREE" (mostly stolen) porn so trying to force anyone to pay when the other cam models are already naked and showing off is sily. There are other sites for that.

We'll have to see how it pans out. Maybe the viewers count was being exploited in someway on some of the models.... ie someone logging in as a member then logging out to become a new guest repeatedly to boost a models viewership???? Thing is for sure certain models who where regular top5 models will struggle to compete under these new rules. The emphasis now certainly has shifted from making good shows and building a fan base and being rewarded for that...too a purely money making enterprise

This is really disgusting to hear. Considering xham already has their hand in the cookie jar sort of speak (taking half of all tokens made) this is simply like double dipping either way just despicably gross.
