Uploading photos

Just a thought, but as a workaround for not being able to upload photos, if you have a few you could always turn them into a slideshow and post them as a video. Like the deliciously deviant Mandy Daniels did in the video below from her page.... just a thought... xxx

to addict2CD : You would think finding people to moderate all uploads would be easy but i can tell you it isn't so easy. Mentally its very hard for most people and don't work long as a moderator. It also take a lot of time to go true all uploaded content and i don't think most porn sites wants to pay for it. Even the most diehard porn lover needs to pay there bills at the end of the month.

to gaybunny972 : I think they already had a triage system in place. I post a variety of material, those where I'm just dressed and stripping are usually posted within 36 hours but those that are stronger could take 4 or 5 days. I think you're correct and they are recruiting more people to vet material more thoroughly.

to gaybunny972 : I think you're right gaybunny, if the money dries up things fall apart, about a year ago the Government here tried to regulate UK porn users by making you enter your credit card details before viewing sites and they either couldn't do it technically or thought it would be political suicide. No one wants to be publically associated with porn. It may be the end of an era for free-acess sites like Hamster.

to addict2CD : Every porn site has the same issues with credit cards companies. Inappropriate material is just a reason to block the payments but its well known fact that credit cards companies don't want to be associated with porn in general and try to get rid of everything that has to do with porn to try to save there own faces.

to honeybtgirl : You can still use video download helper or similar tools to get the vids. I got a feeling Xhamster doesn't have the people to moderate all material that's being uploaded and the technical people to maintain the site.

Excellent suggestion. I've heard that just before Christmas the New York Times did an expose about P*rnh*b showing inappropriate material which resulted in the major credit cards withdrawing their fascilities. It looks as if xham are being super cautious. Hope normal service will resume before too much longer.

to gaybunny972 : Yes, lots of issues. Originally there never used to be a 'download' button, it was introduced a few years back, most Porn sites don't seem to have a download option or reserve it for paying members anyhow. Not allowing photo uploads can only be detrimental all round surely? People will just go elsewhere. Who knows what goes on behind the Hamster scenes?

to fullyfashionedfan : I haven't got a clue but xhamster are missing the ball for a time now. First the video section that only showed old videos in the newest vid section. That seems to be fixed but the download button is gone now. And now it's the photo section and the search engine that's a mess.
