Ink

I remember when I was young and getting a tattoo was viewed in a negative light, a taboo, and often seen as something only trashy people got. I never felt that way exactly personally, but if I am being honest, I have never cared for tattoos. I almost have a double standard regarding them between the genders. I definitely dislike ink on women typically, and I am indifferent towards guys unless it gets excessive. Saying that, let me explain my reasoning.

First, quick and to the point regarding ink on guys. I don't pay too much attention to guys in general, so I don't care. It only annoys me when it is a guy filming a scene in a video or in a photo shoot and it begins to look excessive, such as the full sleeves or all over the chest and abdomen. I just don't care for it. Now for women, I look at it in a more serious light. Women are absolutely beautiful creatures in some shapes and sizes and ethnic backgrounds. They can be curvy, athletic, toned, rounded, tall, short, black, white, brown, long hair, short hair, big boobs, tiny boobs, natural, enhanced, big butt, tiny ass, apple butt, heart-shaped ass, so many variations, and all beautiful. Some women, and we all know who they are, are blessed with an almost unnatural step up in beauty, a charisma in physical beauty that just oozes sexual attractiveness, and those women can get away with a tattoo or two, so long as they aren't overly gaudy. Examples that comes to mind are Jenna Jameson (during her early performing days), Gianna Michaels, and Jenaveve Jolie. Some can get away with even a gaudy tattoo based on placement, such as the late Yurizan Beltran or Daisy Marie. Eventually though, no matter how attractive they are, each addition of ink takes away from their beauty (examples Brandy Talore, Christy Mack, Ryan Conner). I don't think they mean for it to detract from them in that way, and in fact I seriously doubt they think it does, but for me at least it really does just that (which is a particular tragedy in my view for Brandy Talore who was absolutely gorgeous when she first hit the scene).

Just how I feel on the subject, and I don't expect everyone to agree with me. I am certain a great many people will disagree, and some will even be indifferent. I am happy to discuss this topic in a civil fashion with people as well. Are you for or against tattoos? Do they add or detract from sex appeal for you?
