Derrick wanted to get rid of it as fast as possible, because it was so powerful and SO unstable. He was afraid that if he waited too long it would destroy half the Galaxy before it was moved, This was a type of 'dirty' super missile highly unstable and highly explosive somewhere 150 - 450 x 4.184 gigajoules (well over 150 megatons) enough to destabilize a planet or sun causing the cascade destruction of over half the Galaxy. There were other elements in the missile that made it dangerous also these would have help to heighten the destablization. |
