That's very true, and I thank you for the critique. This is my very first attempt at something like this, and I appreciate the input. I'm also aware of the fact that I tend to blend a bunch of ideas together randomly, and I also interrupt an ongoing scene often as an feeble attempt to create "Plot twists". I'll work on it, and I hope that I'll get better with time. Of course the whole "no background information" is kind of my signature, as I reveal the background slowly throughout the story. It makes everything seem rational and obvious to the characters while confusing the reader until the bits and pieces are gradually revealed. |
