But if you read the Genre for this story you will notice it says FICTION. I wrote the story from the voice of someone who experienced sexual abuse growing up. To maintain realism I stayed within character from the beginning of the story till the end. I put a warning in the introduction to avoid anyone wasting their time if they did not want to read what the story was about. However, like anything ever written the purpose of the story is to be thought provoking. Just because someone reads a book about Ted Bundy does not mean they want to become a mass murderer. The story’s purpose was to share with people what it might feel like to go through abuse. If you read this story and you feel guilty, or think I’m trying to make YOU feel guilty, then you may want to take a look in the mirror or you may be a bit paranoid.
