I was very surprised to see my name on your list. I refuse to take negative comments personally, which is often difficult to do. I tell myself "they don't know me". If they don't like my story well then that's ok. It's up to them what they like and don't like. I write for people to enjoy. I will offer assistance when one asks for it. Personally I like longer stories. There is more character development, more time for setup, and more availability to include the character's thoughts or their expectations. Personally, I think with the success of E.L.James' series "50 Shades of Grey" that erotica is back in vogue. Virtually everyone I know has read at least one of the "50 Shades" books. I plan on taking advantage of that somehow and this site provides me an opportunity to hone my craft. EVERYONE SHOULD KEEP ENJOYING THEIR WRITING!....have fun, and thanks again! |
